New Season

The Bulldogs are ready to start the 2011 Season! After a 10-2 Finish with another Midwest Title the Dawgs are Ready for the New Season!

The St. Louis Bulldogs have joined the Gridiron Developmental Football League (GDFL) for the 2011 season. Citing less travel distances and a complete season schedule, the board of directors decided it was time to change directions this year. The GDFL is a second year football league that has grown after just one year of operations. The league has some eighty teams entering the 2011 season.

According to league Founder & President, Charles Thompson, there has not been an aggressive effort to recruit teams. Most teams have just wanted a change from where they played in 2010.

The 2011 season looks to be very exciting with some renewed rivalries as well as the beginning of some border wars. The league is very serious about having a great vision of being a leader in business, marketing, communications, and presenting a professionally branded product. The StL Bulldogs staff and players have embraced the new league and are looking forward to the new competition and less travel.

GDFL games will start June 4th, 2011 and the regular season will end the middle of August, 2011. Playoffs will begin august 27th.
